POLICE are investigating after seven people - including two teenagers - were shot with an air gun.

Members of the public called police following the incident, which happened in Silchester Road, Tadley, on Monday and Tuesday.

One of the victims, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital to have a pellet removed from the back of his head.

A 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy from Tadley have been arrested in relation to the incident and remain in police custody.

Neighbourhood Team Sergeant Martin Cullis said: “Our local teams are working closely with investigators to understand what led to this incident, to deal with those responsible and to prevent any reoccurrences.

“We also have a number of officers carrying out extra patrols to provide reassurance in the local community.
