RESIDENTS can take part in a colourful charity fun run.
Ickle Pickles charity who support neonatal units across Hampshire have partnered with Bubble Rush for their 5k foam run.
The run will take place at Wide Lane Sports Ground on July 6 and fundraisers from Ickle Pickle are encouraging as many people as possible to get involved.
Holly Walker, a fundraiser for the charity said:" Anyone can take part.
"It is a lot of fun, runners will start off in foam and as you run round the course there will be canons firing coloured bubbles.
"It is a real community event."
The charity are currently looking for more than 30 volunteers to help out on the day and they are also planning on raising £25,000.
Holly added: "We work closely with neonatal wards to ensure they have the best equipment and facilities.
"As a charity we can provide new pieces of equipment which make a real difference.
"We also work with wards on their wellbeing service.
"We provide siblings with colouring packs and activities.
"We aim to take the small stresses for families."
Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.co.uk and anyone interested in volunteering should contact holly@icklepickles.org
