A TEENAGER caught driving at almost double the speed limit has been given points by magistrates.
Joseph Peter Dyer, of Solent Way in Milford on Sea, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court.
The 19-year-old admitted driving a Renault in Hurn Road, Christchurch at 57 miles per hour on August 9 2018.
The speed limit along the stretch is 30mph.
Dyer was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
He was also given six points on his licence.
