THE following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

BENJAMIN DAVID WOODFORD, 29, of Denzil Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a community order. Order varied including drug rehabilitation requirement.

MICHAEL PURKISS, 55, of Arthur Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Fined £300. Victim surcharge £30. Costs £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 16 months.

ANNA MARIE COOPER, 27, of Ashby Road, Totton. Pleaded guilty to stealing goods valued at £120 from Asda in Totton. Fined £100. Compensation £120.

IOSIF ADRIAN CORBU, 30, of Warren Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving and failing to surrender to custody. Fined £480. Victim surcharge £44. Costs £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 18 months.

GARETH ROY GEORGE CROSS, 42, of Hawkley Green, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment. Fined £140. Costs £60.

GUY LEWIS WETTON, 46, of Nutfield Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting, failing to surrender to custody and stealing £50 and a mobile. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 24 months. Alcohol treatment requirement. Victim surcharge £115. Costs £85. Restraining order made.

CALLUM HENRY BAILEY, 41, of Burley Road, Bransgore. Pleaded guilty to speeding at 37mph in a 30mph zone at Ringwood. Fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100. Driving record endorsed with three points.

EMMA COBURN, 31, of no fixed abode. Indicated guilty plea to stealing coffee and chocolate from Tesco and Lidl. Also indicated guilty plea to possession of diamorphine. Given a six month community order, with 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.

MARK COFFIN, 33, of no fixed abode. Indicated guilty plea to stealing cooked meat and coffee from Co-Op in Foundry Lane, Southampton. Also indicated guilty plea to stealing cheese and coffee from Co-Op in Shirley Road, Southampton, and cooked meat from One Stop at Park Business Centre. Jailed for 28 days and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

JOSEPH LEWIS CULLINANE, 19, of Northfield Road, Southampton. Admitted breaching a community order. Ordered to carry out 10 hours of unpaid work.

LLOYD MARVIN COLLIER, 28, of Cheriton Road, Gosport. Pleaded guilty to drug-driving, with cannabis, in Fareham. Disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined £450, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £45.

LINO GONCALVES, 24, of Glenfield Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Southampton. Disqualified for 12 months, fined £500, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £50.
