CONCERN is growing for a missing Southampton man.

Police have renewed their appeal to help find Noor, 20, from Shirley, who went missing from his home in St James Road, Southampton, on the evening of Saturday, February 23.

Officers say it is very out of character for him not to be in contact with family of friends for this amount of time.

A possible sighting of Noor was reported in Brambridge, along the Itchen Navigation Footpath, close to the alpaca farm, at about 5.15pm on Monday, February 25.

Inspector Nick Mills said: “We know that this path is used quite a lot by dog walkers and runners, so we’d like to speak to anyone who thinks they may have seen Noor.

“We’re also asking residents in the nearby area to go and check in their sheds and any outbuildings as he may be seeking shelter there.

“Please think back over the past few days and try to remember if you have seen anyone matching his description.”

He is six feet tall, of an athletic build, and has light brown hair which is often swept back.
