The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates Court:

ROBERT SHAUN DILLON JOHNSTON, 24, of no fixed abode. Pleaded guilty to threatening a police officer that he would damage a police car belonging to Hampshire Constabulary and causing a police officer harassment, alarm or distress. Committed to prison for two months consecutive for each offence, £115 victim services surcharge.

PIOTR KNOP, 32, of Ingoldfield Lane, Soberton. Pleaded guilty to driving a Mazda 2 along Shirley Road after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath was 54 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit. Fined £120. Victim surcharge £30. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 15 months.

SHELDON ROBIN NUTBEAM, 26, of Crete Cottages, Dibden Purlieu. Pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. Fined £93. Victim surcharge £30. Costs £85. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence for 16 months. Also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance at Crete Cottages, Dibden Purlieu.

ADAM BELO OMAR, 39, of HMP Highdown, Surrey. Pleaded guilty to assault, stealing a bottle of Prosecco and two magazines from Tesco Southampton, causing harassment, alarm or distress, being drunk and disorderly, stealing cider from Asda Southampton, stealing a bag of salad from Aldi Southampton and damaging two tables at The Crafty Fox in Portswood. Sentenced to 18 weeks in prison. To pay compensation of £40. Victim surcharge £115.

JOSHUA OLAFUR DAVID LINDSAY, 28, Deerleap Lane, Longdown, Marchwood. Pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen along the High Street, Southampton after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath was 67 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit. Fined £120. Victim surcharge £30. Costs £85.

DAVID ISMAEL TEIXEIRA JOAQUINA, 44, of Cranbury Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving a Seat Ibiza when the proportion of a controlled drug in his blood was 3.1 micrograms per litre of blood, exceeding the specified limit. Fined £175. Victim surcharge £30. Costs £85.
