HURDLER Bob Harris lifted Southampton and Eastleigh Athletics Club to their best British League display of the season with two victories at Southampton Sport Centre.
The golden wins were obtained on June 17, 1978, when he also came second place in the B-string triple jump.
Harris hurt his foot during his third jump and was consequently forced to bow out of the relays.
While his team-mates battled to win the relay points, Harris had to be content with savouring the memory of his two hurdles wins.
