A MAN found with an air weapon in public has been fined by magistrates.
Macaullay Andrew Sherwood, 23, of Winnall Manor Road, Winnall, was caught on February 19 with the unloaded weapon “without lawful authority or reasonable excuse”, a court heard. Police also found cannabis.
Sherwood admitted both charges and was fined £230 with a £30 victim surcharge and £30 costs by magistrates in Basingstoke.
