Helicopter and armed police deployed after knife attack
ARMED officers and a police helicopter rushed to a home in the New Forest home this evening after a man was attacked with a knife.
Hampshire Constabulary was called to the home in Lower Buckland Road, Lymington, at 6.12pm this evening after the assault was reported.
A helicopter, a police dog unit and armed officers carried out a search in the area and arrested a 39-year-old man from Pennington just after 7pm.
A man from Lymington is being treated for wound to his head, which are not described as serious.
