A SOUTHAMPTON man has been disqualified from driving for being on the road without insurance.
Lewie Pace, 21, also known as Petch, was found guilty in his absence at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
The case against Pace, of Barnfield Road, Weston, had been reopened and the conviction and sentence set aside.
Then a fresh prosecution was mounted and Pace was convicted of driving a 06-reg Ford Mondeo on Linacre Road, Thornhill, without insurance on June 3 2018.
Magistrates fined him £120 with a £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs and a six-month ban.
They also fined him £60 for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
