POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary at a Southampton pub.
The Malvern Tavern on Winchester Road was burgled in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police say a group raided the pub's storage area and stole a "large amount of meat".
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We received a report of a burglary which happened between 12.30am on March 9 and 9.30am on March 10.
"Meat was stolen from the fridges.
"Damaged was caused to a wooden shed at the rear."
