ANOTHER tree has blocked a Southampton road and weather warnings have been issued as the country prepares to be hit by strong winds.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the south as the country gets ready to be battered by Storm Gareth.
The tree fell in Portsmouth Road, near the junction with Botany Bay road.
A Southampton City Council statement said that a tree team is working to remove the trunk.

It comes just days after winds of up to 50 miles an hour caused travel chaos across Hampshire when it brought down trees blocking roads and suspending ferries.
Now weather forecaster has put out a yellow weather warning from 9pm tonight until 3pm tomorrow with wind speed likely to get up to gusts of 45 miles an hour.
The Met Office warned:
- Some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
- Some short term loss of power and other services is possible
- It's likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities are affected by spray and/or large waves.
