A bomb sparked a major drama after being found in a Southampton park.
Police officers and the bomb disposal squad rushed to Riverside Park in Southampton just after 1.30pm today after reports of a grenade being found in the River Itchen.
Woodmill Lane was closed between Wessex Lane and Manor Farm Road.

Traffic was diverted and motorists were urged to avoid the area.
Part of Riverside Park was also sealed off.
The road remained closed until 3.30pm.
