A SOUTHAMPTON man has been convicted of racial abuse.
Peter Singh, 32, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words, which caused his victim alarm or distress.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard the incident, in the city in June last year, was racially aggravated.
Singh, of James Weld Close, Southampton, was fined £362, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £36.
