A SOUTHAMPTON man who shouted homophobic abuse towards a person has been fined.
Joseph Richard Walsh pleaded guilty to using threatening words or behaviour towards a person in Southampton in November last year.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard the offence was "motivated by hostility towards people who are of a particular sexual orientation".

He was fined £362 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £36.
