A MAN has been taken to hospital after he was found injured in the middle of a busy road.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was helped by bystanders in Marine Parade at about 6.30pm.
One bystander, who arrived as emergency services were helping the man, said “He was screaming in agony as they lifted him onto the stretcher.
“Two cars had parked up and the people inside got out and helped the ambulance crew.”
Police did not attend the scene.
