After EU leaders agreed to delay the Article 50 process, postponing Brexit beyond March 29, we asked people what they thought...

Alex Cornford, 23, accountant from Winchester, said: "I don't care anymore. I've completely lost interest in the whole thing. I don't check the news updates, what will be will be. It's a mess."

David Woodward, 57, aircraft engineer from Owslebury, said: "The whole thing is a fiasco. You couldn't write it. It's all become a bit of a joke, really. If they can't vote for a deal, what does that say about our government's future?"

Ian Piper, 50, train driver from Southampton, said: "It's a betrayal of the British people. We voted to leave, and that is exactly what should have happened by now, but it hasn't. It's very frustrating."

Jodie Lancaster, 20, student and university open day worker from Winchester, said: "It's all a bit of a faff. The public should have been given more information before voting because nobody knew this was going to happen."
