A SOUTHAMPTON community manager is lacing up his trainers to take part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon tomorrow.

Adam Dale, who works at the new Bow Square development in Southampton City Centre, is taking on the 13.1-mile challenge to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation which creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.

Adam said: “I’ve been blown away by the support from everyone here in Southampton.

“The Make-A-Wish Foundation is such a fantastic charity making dreams come true for poorly children and it’s an honour to play my part to help raise money for the cause.”

Already several residents at Bow Square have got behind Adam, cheering him on with his training and donating to his JustGiving Page.

Atlas Residential, the company which manages the apartment community, has also supported his fundraising drive.

Last year Adam took part in the ABP Southampton Half Marathon and gained notoriety as “Tutu Man” as he leapt across the finish line.

The team also hosted its grand opening event in September 2018 in honour of the Southampton Children’s Hospital Neurological Unit.
