POLICE have launched an appeal after what they are calling a "suspicious incident" in Southampton.
Officers say they want to track down a woman who was involved in the incident at Weston Shore car park on Friday night.
They say the woman got out of a car in a "state of distress" after an altercation with two people.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We are concerned for the welfare of the woman who got out of a light coloured, possibly metallic silver, car at around 10.15pm in a state of distress.
"The woman appeared to have an altercation with two passengers in the vehicle, a man and a woman.
"All three people then left in the car, which was driven by a fourth person."
The woman is described as white, with long blonde hair, was wearing a beige or fold mini-skirt and a black knitted top over a white top, which she was wearing underneath.
The police spokesperson said: "We are keen to hear from this woman, or anyone who may know who she is, to make sure that she’s ok."
