THE following cases were heard by Southampton Magistrates’ Court.

Scheryl Cook, 37, of Blackfield Road, Fawley. Pleaded guilty to failing to notify New Forest District Council and the Department for Work and Pensions of changes to circumstances affecting benefits. Given a community order including 150 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £85 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Jay Darwin Moody, 19, of HM Prison Portland, Dorset. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Cranbury Place, Southampton. Fined £150 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

Philip John Fredericks, 42, of Warren Crescent, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 17 months, fined £440, and ordered to pay £85 cost and a £44 victim surcharge.

Joshua Luke Declan Keegan, 23, of Wimpson Lane, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drug-driving, driving without a licence. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £80, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Benjamin Andrew McEwan, 33, of Burgoyne Road, Thornhill, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to stealing two bottles of Cava wine worth £12.70. Fined £50, and ordered to pay £6.35 in compensation and £40 costs.

Dean Norton Case, 54, of Coach Road, Hamble-le-Rice. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £440, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £44 victim surcharge.

Daniel Michael Miller, 38, of Arthur Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drug-driving. Banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Andrew David Redknapp Junior, 19, of Mount Road, Thatcham, Berkshire. Pleaded guilty to undertaking or assisting the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods. Given an 18-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £25 compensation, £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.

Charlene Heidi Louise Ginston, 24, of Hoddinott Road, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to making a threatening phone call, using threatening words or behaviour and assaulted two police officers. Given a community order and restraining order, and ordered to pay a total of £200 in compensation and £85 costs.

Tania Louise Brake, 25, of Ash Close, Hythe. Pleaded guilty to failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of changes to circumstances affecting benefits. Given a community order including 100 hours of unpaid work, and ordered to pay £100 costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Ivan Armas, 40, of Constructuler 178, Romania. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Bassett Avenue. Banned for 25 months, fined £230, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Jonathan Peter Manton, 27, of Wiltshire Road, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £400. Compensation £120. Victim surcharge £40. Costs £250.

Alexander James Thornton, 28, of Porteous Crescent, Chandler’s Ford. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.Fined £600. Compensation £180. Victim surcharge £60. Costs £250.
