Inquest opens into the death of New Forest woman Vera Miller

Winchester Coroner’s Court heard 91-year-old Vera Miller died at Southampton General Hospital on March 16, ten days after the collision.

As previously reported, the collision happened when a yellow Volkswagen Crafter and a black Nissan Qashqui collided at the junction of the A337 Christchurch Road and the B3058 Lymington Road in Everton.

Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries, but the passenger in the Qashqai, now known to be Ms Miller, of Charnock Close, Hordle, became unwell in hospital and died.
