SCORES of jobseekers flooded into Salisbury today for the Journal's annual Jobs and Careers Fair.
More than a hundred people attended the free event, supported by Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce, to find out what vacancies and work opportunities were currently on offer.
The event, which took place at Salisbury Guildhall between 9am and 3pm, showcased a variety of jobs through stalls and talks, giving candidates the chance to speak freely with employers and find out how to get into their chosen industry.
Both skilled and unskilled candidates were invited to attend the fair, with information offered about both part-time work, full-time work, permanent work and temporary work.
Additionally, apprenticeships, courses and careers was also available.
As well as this, the fair was a chance to learn more about the qualifications and skills needed to secure roles in a wide range of job sectors, including care, engineering, health, logistics, transport, finance and more.
Exhibitors included Meridian Business Support, Salisbury District Hospital, Wiltshire College, and Wiltshire Council.
