A round-up of cases heard at Salisbury magistrates:

GLEN LEVETT, aged 40, of Woodford Close, Ringwood, was banned from driving for 28 days, fined £300 and ordered to pay £115 costs for driving while over the legal alcohol limit in New Canal, Salisbury, on December 22.

SARAH HILTON, aged 32, of Gregory Court, Spire View, must complete 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £150 compensation with £85 costs for assaulting a police officer in Salisbury on February 26.

JAKE MINNITT, aged 25, of Devizes Road, Salisbury, was fined £850, must pay £100 compensation and £30 costs for assaulting a woman and using threatening abusive words or behaviour towards two other people in Salisbury on March 2.

THOMAS BUTLER, aged 33, of Holmes Road, Bishopdown, was fined £100 for failing to comply with a previous suspended sentence requirement that ordered him to carry out unpaid work, and failing to provide reason for his absence.

RYAN MILLS, aged 23, of Churchill Estate, Tisbury, was ordered to pay £375 compensation and £225 costs for assaulting a three custody/detention officers in Melksham on December 17.

LEE COOPER, aged 21, of Stanley Little Road, Bemerton Heath, was fined £165, received six points on his licence and must pay £130 costs for failing to give police information relating to the identification of a vehicle believed to have been involved in an offence at Swindon Police Station on or after September 24.

BEN ALCOCK, aged 36, of Astor Crescent, Ludgershall, was fined £450, and ordered to pay a surcharge of £45 as well as costs of £85 for driving while disqualified and over the legal alcohol limit in St James Street, on March 7.

SEAN BALES-SMITH, aged 39, of Hazel Close, Salisbury, was ordered to pay £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs after stealing and electric toothbrush, bakewell slices and Twirl chocolate to the value of £53.10 from Tesco Metro on March 11.

GERAINT EVANS DYMOND, aged 29, of The Royal Crescent, Tidworth, was fined £356, and ordered to pay £120 costs after driving while over the legal alcohol limit in St Michael’s Avenue on March 7.
