Donkey Derby at Eling Recreation Ground, Southampton..16/5/15.
THE DATE has been set for the annual donkey derby is to be held in Eling.
Organised by the fourth New Forest North Eling Sea Scouts, the derby is to take place at Eling Recreational Ground on May 18.
The day will include donkey races, pig racing, tombola, a funky play bus and a barbecue.
There will also be a coconut shy, a tote facility and refreshments.
The event will cost £1.50 on the day.
Last year, around 2,000 people poured through the gates of Eling Recreation Ground for the racing and entertainment.
The event raised more that £5,000 for the Eling Sea scouts.
