AN EXHIBITION of Hampshire photography will be on display this Easter weekend.

A photo exhibition will take place at the Eastleigh Swan Shopping Centre on April 19, 20 and 22.

It is being held to raise money for Naomi House and Jacksplace hospices who provide expert care to more than 525 terminally ill children, young adults and their extended families across Hampshire.

According to the organiser, Tash Boorman there will be around 30 photographers in total and all photos on display must have been taken in the county.

On the day the Swan Centre, Visit Eastleigh and London Camera Exchange in Southampton will also be supporting the event which runs from 9am to 5pm.

Tash said:

"The reason I’m running the event is my love for photography and for Naomi House and Jacksplace. I thought it would be a great fundraiser as well as getting people together to share their love of "photography. I’m looking forward to people coming along to the exhibition because we need the public to help choose a winner.

"It’s always great to see Hampshire from a different point of view. I hope we raise £140 but am aiming for more if possible!

"I’d like to thank the Swan Centre for providing the location and all photographers involved, as it wouldn’t be possible without them."
