A HAMPSHIRE man who made threats at a person while carrying a knife has been given a suspended sentence.
Luke Barry Wilcox made threats to his victim while carrying the weapon in Gosport in September last year.
The 31-year-old pleaded not guilty to a charge of using threatening or abusive behaviour, but was found guilty at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.
He was given an 18 week sentence which was added to a 14 day sentence for two thefts.
Wilcox, of Launceston Close, Gosport, was also given a consecutive 14 day sentence for breaching bail conditions, by failing to attend a police station.
His total 22 week sentence was suspended for 12 months.
Wilcox was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.
