MORE than 1,000 light-footed movers attended Southampton Guildhall for the 21st dance festival.
The event took place on Oct 4-5, 1968 - the highlight said to have been the 12-16-year-old Latin American dancing.
Judges were Alex Moore, Gwen Silvester and Walter Laird.
These pictures show various dancers performing in different classes over the course of the weekend.
