A SOUTHAMPTON woman believes she may have spotted Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp in an unexpected location.

Vicki Jones was sat in the KFC branch in Thornhill when she spotted a man she believed might have been the German.

Vicki said she saw the man, who was wearing Klopp's Liverpool attire, complete with initials, while sipping on a drink around two hours before Saints hosted Bournemouth at St Mary's Stadium on Saturday.

Liverpool played their Premier League fixture at home to Huddersfield on Friday.

Referring to the large number of transfers involving Liverpool and Saints in recent seasons, Vicki suggested he may have been in the city scouting players such as James Ward-Prowse or Nathan Redmond, who have hit a run of form under Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Hasenhuttl himself has been dubbed the Austrian Klopp due to the pair having similar touchline styles.

Vicki said the man left the KFC branch after she took the photo.
