HAMPSHIRE police are hunting a man wanted in connection with 30 burglaries in which property worth £100,000 was stolen.
Officers are asking the public for help in locating Daniel Bryan Thornton, 35, of St Michael's Avenue in Park Gate.
The break-ins occurred in six towns, cities and villages across Hampshire, including Fareham, Warsash and Winchester, between September last year and April this year.
Officers want to speak to Thornton as part of their enquiries and say anyone who has seen him should call 999 immediately.
He is described as white, slim, 6ft 1in with short brown hair and tattoos on both arms.
Police Staff Investigator Catherine Cole said: “We need to speak to Daniel Thornton urgently as part of our enquiries into these burglaries, which we believe may be linked.
"Thornton has links to the Fareham and Gosport areas as well as Sussex, so we would ask you to share this appeal with friends in those areas.
“We think Thornton may be sleeping rough, possibly in a tent.
“Please be aware that anyone found to be harbouring him to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and liable for arrest themselves."
Anyone with information can call Hampshire police, quoting reference number 44180437435. Alternatively they can Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
