A FIRE broke out in a high-rise building in Southampton last night.
Crews from St Marys, Redbridge, Hightown, Eastleigh and Totton rushed to put out the fire at Deanery halls of student residence on Marsh Lane, near Central Bridge.
The fire was in the communal kitchen of a flat on the sixth floor of an eight-floor building, with six engines and three support vehicles on the scene.
According to the fire services, no one was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries or smoke inhalation and the incident was resolved by 11.42pm.
