A TEENAGE Hampshire bike thief won't be going out in the evening much in the near future.
Thomas Adam Rhys Novak has been placed under nighttime curfew after admitting a string of thefts.
Novak, 18, pleaded guilty to taking four bicycles from Bentley railway station, near Alton, as well as two counts of handling stolen bikes all in the summer of 2018.
Novak, of Green Stile, Medstead, near Alresford, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court where he was sentenced to a 12-week curfew with electronic monitoring between 7pm and 5am until July 25.
The magistrates also imposed a criminal behaviour order for two years banning Novak from entering a railway station except for the purpose of travelling.
Novak also pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting from Sainsbury's in Alton and the theft of two Christmas trees, all committed last December.
