AN APPEAL has been launched after a road rage incident on the hard shoulder of a motorway slip-road.
Police say one driver assaulted another driver following a minor collision on the link road between the M3 southbound and the M27 westbound.
During the incident, it is reported that the Peugeot driver leaned through the window of an Audi and assaulted the driver, causing injuries to his head and hands.
The incident took place between 7.20pm and 7.45pm on Monday 13 May.
The people involved have been described as a man in his 20s, who was driving a black Audi TT, and a man driving a silver Peugeot 308.
The Peugeot driver has been described as white, stocky, aged between 35 and 45, with brown hair, glasses and facial hair.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who can help us identify the driver of the Peugeot."
