The family of a Winchester man who died in a two-lorry crash has paid tribute.
Wayne Woodbridge, 54, sustained fatal injuries and pronounced deceased at the scene on A35 Gammons Hill at Kilmington Cross in East Devon.
Emergency services were called at 5.50am on 29 April, following a head-on collision.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 36-year-old man from Bristol remains in Derriford hospital receiving treatment.
Paying tribute, the family of Mr Woodbridge said: “Wayne Woodbridge was a wonderful son of Esther, brother to Tina, uncle to Claire, Kerry and Carl, father to Shana, Billy and Devon and 'Pops' to Evelyn and Albi and bump, as well as loving partner to Colleen.
“His smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew him and we as a family have not come to terms with his loss.
“We ask the media to respect our wishes and leave us to grieve but would like to welcome anyone who knew him to attend his celebration of life at Wessex Vale Crematorium on Thursday 23rd May at 13:45pm.”
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone with information to contact police on 101 quoting log 70 of 29/4/19.
