TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent after a man was knifed in the back in Poole on Sunday morning.

As reported in the Daily Echo, police were called to reports of a stabbing outside The Cabin in Old Orchard at 12.20am.

A man in his 30s suffered injuries to his back and was rushed to hospital. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

A 22-year-old- Bournemouth man and a 24-year-old man of no fixed abode have been arrested in connection with the incident. Both are assisting officers with their enquiries.

Detective Constable Ben Swain, of Bournemouth CID, said: “A full investigation is under way."
