A MAN who stole thousands of pounds worth of clothing from two Southampton stores has been brought to justice – more than four years after committing the thefts.
Adrian Marian Radu and two others stole a total of £1,564 from Hollister at Westquay on March 3 in 2015.
He also stole £780 from Debenhams in Southampton on the same day.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court this month, the 42-year-old, who gave his nationality in court as Romanian and was said to have no fixed address in the UK, pleaded guilty to both thefts.
He was conditionally discharged for six months.
Radu was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.
