Thief who stole two pairs of £25 jeans from jailed
A MAN who stole two pairs of jeans from a high street fashion chain has been jailed.
Robert Reynolds stole the jeans, worth £24.99 each, from New Look at West Quay on February 4.
He pleaded guilty to theft and a theft of £70 worth of equipment from Wilko in Southampton on February 18.
The 24-year-old appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court this week, where he was jailed for at total of 28 days.
Magistrates opted to jail Reynolds, of no fixed address, because of his "record of persistent offending".
Reynolds was ordered to pay compensation of £49.98 to New Look and £70 to Wilko.
