AMONG the cases heard at Southampton Magistrates Court were:

RUSSELL JAMES SALTER, 39, of Durley Road, Horton Heath. Pleaded guilty to breaching non-molestation order. Community order made for seven months, including 17 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Also fined £75, ordered to pay court costs of £40 and a victim surcharge of £85. Also made subject of restraining order.

KARL DEAN ANSTEY, 40, of St James Close, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching non-molestation order. Community order made for six months, including an electronic curfew. Also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85.

MYLES EDWARD FILOSE, 37, of Lower Buckland Road, Lymington. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assault. Community order made for 12 months, including 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Also fined £100 and ordered to pay compensation of £150. Also made subject of a restraining order.

ERKAN GUMUS, 43, of Shirley Towers, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Also ordered to pay £115 victim surcharge.

MICHAEL JONATHAN WRIGHT, 37, of Willis Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. Community order made for six months, including 12 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Also ordered to pay compensation of £60 and fined £25.

CHARLES OLADIPO, 30, of HMP Thameside. Pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without consent. Jailed for four weeks. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115.

SAUNDER DAVID PAIN, 52, of Player Court, Fordingbridge, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis. Also admitted breaching conditional discharge. Fined a total of £150.

KATHRINE CLAIRE ANNE OLIVER, 33, of Portswood Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage, one count of harassment and one court of racially aggravated harassment. Community order made for 16 months, including 35 days or rehabilitation activity requirement. Also fined £75 and ordered to pay compensation totalling £230.

JOSEPH TIMOTHY SMITH-BUTCHER, 29, of Walkers Lane North, Blackfield. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving and failing to surrender to court. Disqualified from driving for three years. Community order made for 12 months, including 60 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85.

DANNY AARON BARR, 31, of Golden Grove, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to criminal damage and assaulting a police officer. Community order made for seven months, including 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Also ordered to pay compensation totalling £280 and fined £100.

STUART MARK ABSOLOM, 30, of Howe Close, New Milton. Admitted breaching community order by failing to attend unpaid work. Fined £100 and ordered to pay court costs of £60.

MATEUSZ BRODWICK, 32, of Belmont Road, Southampton. Admitted breaching community order by failing to attend unpaid work. Fined £220 and ordered to pay court costs of £60.

LANCE ROBERT WILLIAM BAISTOW, 32, of Tankerville Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer. Community order made for 18 months, including an eight week electronically monitored curfew. Also ordered to pay compensation of £50.

NORMAN ANDREW CROFT, 65, of Meggeson Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Southampton. Disqualified from driving for 14 months. Also fined £400 and ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £40.

MARK ANTHONY NORRIS, 46, of Maple Square, Eastleigh. Pleaded guilty to stealing £68 of meat from Sainsburys in Eastleigh. Fined £100 and ordered to pay compensation of £68.
