HAMPSHIRE police are urging residents to be on the lookout for five stolen bikes collectively worth more than £20,000.

The bikes were stolen from a shed in The Close, Thornhill, which happened overnight.

Hampshire police have just released this information on the bikes which were stolen on April 15.

The five bikes have been used in a number of competitions, including Iron Man triathlons, and one of the bikes is a Giant light blue mountain bike.

The other bikes are a Trek mountain bike with a black, green and white frame, as well as a racing bike with a red and black front half and black rear half. This bike also features Red Bull bulls painted either side of the handlebar strut.

An Argon 18 bike with the stickers removed from the frame, replaced with a person's name and a GB flag was also stolen, including a Litespeed Blade time trial bike with a titanium frame.

A spokesperson from Hampshire Police said: "If someone tries to sell these bikes, either in person or online, or residents find them discarded somewhere, please call us on 101 quoting 44190134055."
