A BISHOP’S Waltham resident has been left “frustrated and disappointed” with a national housing company – claiming the area surrounding his home is “an eyesore”.
James Nixon first moved into his Montague Road property three years ago, which is part of Montague Place, the 2014 development by Linden Homes.
But the 49-year-old civil servant is “unhappy” with the greenspace outside his house, and has been “really pushing” the developers to live up to what the plans originally stated.
He said: “The large open space area is an absolute eyesore. There should be a nice wildflower area outside my home, with a playpark and a decent kickabout area for everyone to use.
“Instead, the place is a mess.”
A spokesperson for Linden said: “The wildflower area is currently being renovated and planting will take place once complete. We have also been assured by the contractors that the mud pile has now been removed from the development.”
