A MAN in his thirties suffered serious injuries in a crash near Southampton.
The crash took place this morning around 8.50am, on Townhill Way, near to The Two Brothers pub in West End.
A cyclist was involved in a crash with a Toyota Rav4.
Police say the cyclist suffered serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: "We were called at 8.50am to reports of a collision on Townhill Way involving a Toyota Rav4 and a cyclist.
"The cyclist, a man in his 30s, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries."
A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) said: "We received a 999 call at 8.46am this morning with the caller reporting a collision between a car and a cyclist near the roundabout where Townhill Way meets Atlantic View West.
"The cyclist had sustained a head injury and was also complaining of leg pains, so after initial treatment at the scene by the ambulance crew, was then taken to University Hospital Southampton for further assessment."
