THE inquest has opened into the death of a pensioner who died from choking.
Reginald Bowdler, 93, passed away at home at Bridge Close, Bursledon, on June 3, the hearing heard.
Consultant pathologist Dr Adnan Al-Badri said the preliminary finding as to cause of death was choking but it would be further investigated.
Assistant coroner Sam Marsh adjourned the inquest until October 17.
