THE family of an 11-year-old boy who died in a collision in Titchfield have described him as "one of the most caring and loving young lads that you would ever meet".
Benjamin Mundy, 11, of Hewett Road, Fareham was crossing the road when he was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Mokka and VW Golf.
The collision took place at 4.26pm on Monday, 3 June on Southampton Road.
He was taken to hospital but later pronounced dead.
Paying tribute to Benjamin, his family said in a statement: “Ben will be sorely missed by everyone that he came in to contact with.
"He had such a cheeky and mischievous sense of humour where he would be able to get away with anything with his cheeky smile.
"He was one of the most caring and loving young lads that you would ever meet. We are so proud of the young man that he was turning into.”
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling in the area who has a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to call police on 101 quoting Operation Review.
