AN URGENT recall has been issued on a batch of e-cigarettes over fire safety fears.
The recall, shared by Hampshire Fire and Rescue, urges people to stop smoking SMOK and Innokin E-Cigarettes.
A batch of e-cigarettes, available at Argos, has been placed on an immediate recall list due to safety reasons.
The warning, by consumer group Electrical Safety First, says overheating could result in a fire or injury.
A statement on their website said: "External batteries supplied with the product is not compatible with the e-cigarettes, and could overheat if used, potentially resulting in a fire or burn injury.
"If you have an affected product stop using it immediately. Return the product to your nearest Argos store for a full refund."
The SMOK and Innokin products are priced at £79.99.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue tweeted out the warning, with a tip of fire safety, and directed people to the Electrical Safety First website for more information.
