A MAJOR road will be closed during the day between Monday and Wednesday for works to be carried out.
Ringwood Road will be shut between its junctions with Bear Cross Roundabout and Poole Lane Roundabout between 9.30am and 3.30pm on all three days.
The closure will allow Bournemouth Water engineers to carry out repair works to a water main. A diversion will be in place via Ringwood Road, Wallisdown Road, Boundary Road, Whitelegg Way and Wimborne Way.
The arrangements could be extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations, officials from the water company say.
