YOU wouldn’t know that the past week had seen downpours and a return to chilly weather looking at these images taken by members of the Daily Echo Camera Club.
Members of the group managed to find brief glimpses of the summer sunshine, and the wildlife out basking in it.
Lee Sayers managed to capture a red kite in the sky over Hampshire, cast against a backdrop of clear blue sky.
There were also a number of beautiful sunsets with vivid colours, whether that was the amber glow over a field of poppies, photographed by Nikki Gatrell, or the deep shades of blue and purple reflecting in the water at Hatchett Pond, taken by Jon Chard.
The Daily Echo Camera Club is free to join and gives photographers of all abilities the chance to share their images. Visit facebook.com/groups/decameraclub.
