CCTV from the address showed a white transit twin cab truck parked outside the address at the time of the incident.

Police said the van had Homegro Tree Surgeons written on the side and hatch markings with Motorway Maintenance written on the back.

Two men - described as white, aged in their early 20s and of slim to medium build – came from the vehicle and entered the garage.

Two Boardman mountain bikes – a silver men’s bike and a black and pink ladies bike – were stolen along with a Makita drill, a Worx saw and a Makita site radio.

A second burglary occurred at around 2pm the same day when offenders prised open the garage door of an address near Milton Abbas and stole a Stihl chainsaw and strimmer.
