A MAN has been airlifted to hospital this morning following an incident at Pokesdown railway station.
All lines were blocked between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst this morning but have now been reopened.
The air ambulance landed at Kings Park following the incident.
An eyewitness said they saw a man taken by a stretcher from the railway station.
South Western Railway said trains running through stations between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
Disruption is expected to last until midday.
A spokesperson said earlier: "Our response teams are working with the emergency services to assist with the incident. In order to allow access to the railway, all power to the track has been switched off in the affected area."
