AMONG the court cases heard in Southampton were:

LUKE OLIVER ALEXANDER, 24, of Windermere Avenue, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to being a sex offender who failed to register an address where he had resided and where a child resides. Also admitted failing to register a change of home address. Committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.

MAXWELL BRADY, 22, of Mansel Road East, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Southampton. Banned from driving for 18 months, fined £533, also ordered to pay court costs of £150 and a victim surcharge of £53.

OLIVER BARNARD, 24, of Mescott Meadows, Hedge End. Found guilty of drug driving. Disqualified from driving for three years. Also fined £180, ordered to pay victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £100.

DANIELLE CONNIS, 22, of Ludlow Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Southampton. Also pleaded guilty to driving without a licence and without insurance. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Also fined £320, ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

PAUL RICHARD VAUGHAN, 56, of Banbury Close, Doncaster. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Southampton. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Also fined £300, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

DARREN PAUL STEVEN WARDROP, 51, of St Andrews Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive language or behaviour. Community order made for nine months, including an exclusion from Sainsbury’s in Bitterne and 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 victim surcharge.

LEE MARTIN PORTMAN, 29, of John Thornycroft Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Fined £300, ordered to pay compensation of £100, court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

RICHARD JOHN HUNT, 52, of Howard Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order. Fined £260, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £30.

JOHN LANCELOT CUTTER, 35, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order. Community order made for 18 months, including 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days. Also fined £50, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £35.

RHYAN MAYERS, 27, of Saltoun Road, London. Pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and failing to surrender to bail. Also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, speeding and driving without insurance. Community order made for 12 months, including 160 hours of unpaid work. Also disqualified from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay court costs of £170 and a victim surcharge of £85.

RICKY BROWNE, 37, of Poole Road, Branksome, Poole. Pleaded guilty to assault by beating in Southampton. Community order made for 12 months, including 100 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £115 in court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

ZDZISLAW WIECZOREK, 38, of Park Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Southampton. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Also fined £311, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £31.
