A MAN caught more than double the drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads for three years.
Patryk Staruch, 26, was caught drink-driving in a White Mercedes Sprinter in Southampton on March 30.
When tested, he had 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol.
He was also driving without insurance.
Staruch, of Jasmine Road, Shirley, admitted both offences.
He was given a community order for a year and banned from driving for 36 months.
He was also fined £100, ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £85.
