A MAN who stole more than £800 in face creams from a Hampshire shop has been given a community order.
Craig Paul Ballard, 45, stole the cosmetic creams from Superdrug in Gosport on May 2.
He committed six other thefts over two months, including a bottle of Jack Daniels and an Xbox controller from Asda in Fareham on May 9.
Among the other thefts included £50 of cleaning products from One Stop in Gosport and £18 of meat from Waitrose in Gosport.
Ballard, of Beryton Close, Gosport, pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.
Appearing at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court, he was sentenced to a 12 month community order.
Ballard was also ordered to pay more than £1,100 in compensation to the various stores he targeted.
